Love Matthews finishing it with his 30th.

"did you not watch the game or, those Senator Fan glasses you have on blinding your vision?" -0 Cleetus

I've been watching Toronto for 40 years.
Referees do not call games unfavorably against Toronto, on the whole.

My "Senators Fan Glasses" don't cloud reality.
Your Leafer Glasses do, evidently.

They can play that game when they know their goalie can make a save. When Samsonov was in we had to play a style of trying to limit shots because any shot could be a goal
Yes, no more of this "we have to support Sammy" where we're afraid any misstep is in the net.

Kudos to Dostal. He deserved the win, however he was full value for earning his team a point.

Great game by our Leafs. Nylander either shot the puck hard and wide, or hit Dostal with the puck.

Stupid hit by McMann. Maybe a game or 2 suspension incoming.

Maybe it's because I've been watching these chumps since 1975 and they have let me down every year since. I've seen many a better team than the current one fail.
I have been watching since '84. So I have a little less disappointment than you. I am just comparing this team to the last couple years teams. I mean, our 80s teams would wipe their asses with this group as far as physicality goes.

We just have more guys willing to poke a guy. Respond after someone goes near the goalie, fight, throw a big hit, hell, even stick a guy behind the play. I think Knies has some of that in him too. The core four forwards don't in general, but they are learning they need some of that in their game if they want ultimate success.

Slowly but surely. They have at least learned to get to the scrum. Push someone here and there. Baby steps I guess

The best team of the last 50 years was the 93/94 Gilmour years which would eat our current squad for lunch.
