Treliving needs to re-sign Benoit long term.

3-5 years in the 1-1.5 M range
The fuk were the Ducks thinking letting him walk? Doubt he was looking for big dollars. Great find for us.

Goals saved above expected 4.66
Okay, yea that is pretty high then. So, does that mean the Leafs should have had 6 goals rounding down?

Not even my little kids could jynx this game.

I told them they could stay awake until the game was done.

Therefore, they wanted it to last forever.

In OT they were singing out songs they made up. "Shootout the Rednosed Reindeer!"
remind them when they're teens and want to sleep in ;)

Have you watched any games this year?

They have shown more bite and willingness to battle and pushback this year than any of the previous 5 years
Yeah I have. The major players on this team are still the same lightweights of the last 5 years.
You think Mitch Marner Nylander, Tavares or Auston Mathews are going to play "tough" when everything is on the line? Mathews won't even defend himself in a fight fffs.

6'4" 205 Lb physical shut down d-man at only 25 years old. Great depth signing by Treliving along with Gregor, Jones and Lagesson.

Bertuzzi took some time but is looking like the guy we all hated in Detroit. Domi has exceeded expectations (personally speaking).

Good work by Treliving in his limited time as GM this summer. Almost gives him the pass for the Klingberg and Reaves signings.

I do not believe you have watched much, or are just seeing what you want. The team overall has a different bite without a doubt. Last night we battled probably the toughest team in the league. And tonight we were the instigators in almost all situations, that never happened under Dubie.

How this team has played against weak teams, getting 50 shots didn't matter if you lost. Needed to find a way to win the game so can take the posotives now. Dominating win. Thats 4 games they have played well now in a row

Maybe it's because I've been watching these chumps since 1975 and they have let me down every year since. I've seen many a better team than the current one fail.

...
They were also very good in Columbus. Pushed the pace and didn't allow much

Unfortunately, every Columbus chance went in the net.
Yes, this is easily the best consistent stretch of the season. We aren't giving up much at all and we're really supporting one another. It's a great sign because it's really just now you start to see what you have as a team.
