GDT: Leafs vs Red wings my first live game.

Main boards are so toxic. You would think the Leafs were the worst team in the league reading those threads. Silence on the Habs, but Leafs have how many threads by non Leaf fans in each forum? Hyman is the GOAT, Andersen for Vezina, etc.

These guys got no respect when they did the same shit here. Now, Dubas is an idiot for letting them go. Had he kept them, he would be roasted as well. Just like how he was roasted for signing Rielly "50 percent of the cap hurr durr" if he signed Hyman, the thread would be 60% of the cap instead.

And they use the excuse of "oh the Leafs are shoved down our throats and fans are always saying they are the best team ever".. When is this happening? The fanbase has been so negative and unpassionate for months now after that loss. The media has been dominated by non Leaf news, Olympics coverage, and if they do talk about the team, it's how bad their start has been.

It's just so toxic. Makes me want to never log back in. It's not even discussions anymore, just a circle jerk about how much the Leafs suck. And then you come here, and it's the same shit within our fanbase. It's one thing for us fans to complain and do whatever, but no other team gets the Leafs treatment on here.

Enjoy! I hope something clicks for them too and you can enjoy a good game.

Maybe the big guys will feel a little bit better now that they got a few points last game.

Respectfully, if we want to know what is being said on other boards, we can go to other boards.

This is the GDT for tonight’s game. Odd place for a rant.

Very interested to see Dermott, Sandin, Liljegren all in the same game tonight. A strong showing could prove disastrous for Justin Holl. Huge opportunity for Dermott playing up with Rielly. Undoubtedly a tough assignment when playing on your off side against strong competition (Brodie makes it look easy, but it's definitely not). Brodie is quietly one of the smarter D-men I've seen in quite some time. Really come to appreciate his game. Hopefully he can help Muzzin get back on track (I'm still baffled how Muzzin-Holl went from solid shutdown pairing to unplayable). The Sandin-Liljegren pairing scares me from an experience standpoint, hopefully they do well together. I really want Liljegren to grab the reigns here.

This is the game Timothy Liljegren needs to say hello to the world. Not only does he need to be solid defensively, but he has to show some ability to play in the offensive zone. He looks like dermott there, and that’s no good from him. He has all the tools and can easily be a 30-40 point defencemen at his peak. He just needs to get started here

Probably confirmation bias here but how many times has there been a "I'm Visiting Toronto and Tonight's My First Leafs' Game" thread here followed by a nightmare Saturday night game?
 
We need Dermott to finally show that potential. Feels like we’ve been waiting for him to take that next step forever. He’s not a young kid anymore

They is sire. As a human being who played the game, I know they is. Something just isn't the same anymore, after that last game. They finna lose to US. HARD. They still a pretty good team now this year, don't get me wrong milord, but missing the bertuzzi and being tired as a maofao, they finna lose big tyme baby. Allowing loads and loads of gezoals tonight. We might score even 6 or 7. See to it sire. And invest: HARD. :clap: Congratulations of the winnings of paper sire.

Leaf players are always underrated by other fan-bases.
it happened with kessel, kadri, brown and now with hyman.
