Well the Metro for sure. None of the 3 teams that made it are very good.
The Atlantic was pretty solid. Florida and Tampa are good teams, they just happened to draw each other in the first round.
Toronto is meh but their stars seem to be simultaneously shedding their Panarin labels.

McDavid and Draisaitl are 3rd and 4th all time in playoff points per game with all players with a minimum of 50 GP all time. McDavid is a few good games away from jumping Lemieux for the #2 spot.
FWIW, MacKinnon and Rantanen are 5th and 6th. Drury/Gorton have done some really questionable and straight up stupid shit over the last 8 years, but nothing comes even close to how McFarland handled the Rantanen situation.
Oilers-Dallas rematch would be a fun WCF for people who like goals.
Oilers confuse me because theres no reason they should be able to control games like they have for most of these playoffs.
When McDavid and Draisaitl are out there? Yeah okay, no one is controlling those guys.
When other guys are out there? That roster isn't really that special.
They haven't even had Ekholm dress for a playoff game yet!

With neither of them on the ice this year, their GF% was 42.8. They just have one of them on the ice most of the time.
Granted, everyone sucks without their two best players on the ice. Their xGF% without them is just north of 49 so they tread water. Woodcroft put in a really nice system that he gets no credit for.

It would be good for the league for McJesus to finally win one. I also bet them to win the Cup after Game 7 ended last year. All in on the bandwagon. Hopefully their goalies can do enough
