Tampa is a dirty team. No doubt about it. Kucherov is a cheap f***er. Perry and Maroon are pretty much just goons at this point. I hope Schenn lays another beat down on Maroon... POS.

Murray may be available later in the series but I'd much prefer Woll if needs be. However Sammy is our guy... so hopefully if anyone tries to touch him this series they're going to lose some teeth.

I like Schenn in there too. I don’t see Lilly out there clearing the net, and we need to protect our net.

They were shitting themselves after Schenn whooped Maroons ass. Tampa is used to gooning it up when they get outplayed and using dirty tactics, this Leafs team isn't taking that shit. Schenn scoring a goal and then whooping his ass was just a treat to watch. Addition of Schenn has been monumental, he's even elevated other guys like Holl. The culture changing, guys are playing meaner, finishing checks and just playing with a nasty edge. How many monstrous hits has Holl had since the TDL ? We shit on him all the time here but I think he's been f***ing great since we added Schenn, I love the way he's playing right now. He takes too much heat, he's a bottom pairing D man and he does a good job.

I think it has a correlation with winning. It's been just as long since leafs won anything. Flags will appear if they win the series

True.. that goal was worse for matthews and marner than holl.. as much of a non fan of holl i am he was in no mans land.. but then didnt read it fast enough either

As soon as the leafs win a round expect to see leafs flags everywhere. People (casuals and hardcore fans alike)are too cautious to really believe the hype around this team. They expect the leafs to disappoint them once again. Their faith has been broken by 2 decades of futility. Once bitten, twice shy, as the wise say.

it's definitely some gamesmanship. Not exactly sure it is intended to put Simmer in the lineup, I am fairly confident that is not going to happen, but at the very least it might shift Sheldon's focus away from the players who are actually going to play for TB.

Like Other posters have said already, a healthy Jennault has been nothing to worry about this season anyways. I doubt Sheldon wastes any time even fretting about his potential to play G1. We will not lose the series over our inability to lock down Tanner Jennault

It seems off to write off a player like him so quickly.. hagel wasnt great after coming over in the reg season but sure looked the part as the playoffs got going

If this was a malgin type player or a lafferty type player fine.. but this guy is a unique physical package that can play mean.. can affect games

I wouldnt write guys like him off until he actually is a non factor..

If we play the way we are capable of it really shouldn't matter who is being dressed on TB. As usual, we will be the only thing getting in the way of us advancing. Losing focus for just a second could be the reason we don't advance. SO if that is the case, don't even bother with what we see going on in TB's practice. Show up ready to play our game, and make TB gameplan around us.

This series is ours for the taking. It will not be easy. That is a championship squad who knows how to win. Focus, determination, relentlessness, passion, hatred, and effort should be the only adjectives we use to describe what is acceptable from our team going forward. If everyone is fully invested and prepared, the results will come.
