He’ll never have to pay for almost anything in Toronto.Win a Cup in Toronto and you will never pay for dinner in this city again.
future visiting Aliens would think these statues were gods. And they wouldn’t be wrong.statues will be erected, streets will be named and renamed, stories will be passed on to the next generation, hockey lore will be rewritten
A tim horton's will probably also be built that he can fit a pick up inside as well!Win a Cup in Toronto and you will never pay for dinner in this city again.
For whatever reason, this time, it feels like it’s our time.
Having said that…wouldn’t it be kind of odd to see Dubas working in Pittsburgh next season? Please don’t let that happen.
Anybody having issues with HF?

Maroon-Bellemare-Perry feels exploitable, imagine their ice time is limited. Not really impressed with their bottom six. This is when we'll see if those depth deadline additions pay off.
Not exact but still good omens.
So pumped for this first round.
After last season I didn't think I would be all that excited but I'm ready to be hurt again lol.
Sick of other players targeting our stars every playoff. Can we please get bodies on Kuch and Hedman. Kuch is such a douche. Why aren’t we giving him face washes every scrum amd little shots. He does it and gets away with it over and over.
I wonder if we lose so many game 7s because we arent physical enough early n the series. Get them bumped and bruised so when game 7 hits they are playing hurt.
12-6. IMO they just did it because they were carrying 9 D and needed to get every D some time in plus time off.Do we think they go 11/7 or 12/6?

Tampa is loading up their top line
If our elite core can't exploit that D, they will never get it done. Of course then it will be the same old, we got goalied.interesting they are stacking one line and Bogo is outside looking in while he played all games with us
I'm much dumber having read this. Thank you. While I badly want them to win, and to finally beat those turds from Boston, them doing so would save Kyle 'Spreadsheet' Dubas' and Keefe's jobs and I want both of them gone so I am conflicted.
These are trollsBut people WOULD sacrifice a cup win just so Dubas doesn’t win one?
I, for one, can't wait to get drunk at Yonge and Dubas.statues will be erected, streets will be named and renamed, stories will be passed on to the next generation, hockey lore will be rewritten
They gotta take at least 2 of the first 4, and at least 1 of game 3 or 4.Game one might decide this series. I would rather see us win the first two and gain some confidence ->roll it down the hill.
I can see us shit the bed if we lose the first one.
Took him long enough! And some success this year will not erase his failings. Looking at his overall tenure, he has been a failure.
I've been a fan longer than most here have been alive. I survived the Ballard years and never lost hope, but the loss to Montreal broke me. It just broke me.
It wasn't just who they lost to, but how they lost. Since then I have hardly watched any regular season games, because I just can't. Last year I don't think I watched any, but did start watching in the playoffs only to see them bow out in the first round yet again. Same old, same old. Nothing new at all.
This year I have watched 2-3 complete games and parts of a handful more. Again, I am getting interested for the playoffs but based on their history over the last decade I am not expecting much and think that Dubas and Keefe have to be removed for the team to have any hope of progressing.
They have accomplished nothing under Dubas and Keefe, absolutely nothing (and no, the regular season doesn't mean a damned thing nor do the idiotic advanced stats that some people cling to as if they are gospel), and I do not see that changing and them becoming a perennial Cup threat. For them to take that step, Dubas and Keefe have to go and winning a round or two this year will stop that from happening and just prolong the underachieving.
See my comments immediately above.

He is a -28 on the season where the next worst on his team is a -10. His linemates are also -9 and -5. And the production from all 3 of them is at career lows. We shouldddddd be running over that line on the scoresheet.Predicting Perry shenanigans, need to take him out of the equation early.
Yup, 21 career NHL games on one half of their second pairing with 0 playoff games experience. Gotta expose that. That’s honestly one of the worst looking Tampa lineups in years. Size on D and game breaking talent that turns it up in the playoffs is always a factor but we have quite a few favourable matchup options if that’s how they roll into game 1.
Tampa's plan will be as expected. Clog up the neutral zone and look to frustrate the Leafs with a pinch of gooning it up too after the whistle.
I doubt it. There was that one poster who had mixed feelings - Maybe a couple of the loss only poster, but overwhelmingly posters want the Cup win regardless of management. But people WOULD sacrifice a cup win just so Dubas doesn’t win one?
