Jets make a mistake we don't finish and Helly bails his team out, Leafs make a mistake and its in the net. Not blaming Freddy, but that's been the story. Had a ton of chances and are not capitalizing. PP has been a letdown, despite the goal we've looked lackadaisical with the man up.

Who says it’s about the goal? I literally have only blamed Auston for that one. I’m talking about Andersen’s broader history, where he certainly has not been at his best in big moments.

To be fair... at those moments the TEAM was not at its best but that doesn't fit the negative narrative

At a certain point, you just need to make a certain number of saves.

Some are going to be difficult, some will be easy. You can't stop everything, but you can be good enough to stop the majority. Fred's struggled for a while

Why does the other teams goalie always make saves on our great chances but Andersen can never do the same?

If it’s a remotely difficult shot it feels like it’s going in for sure

Andersen only saves shots that should be saved (even then, expect a stinker per game.)

Expecting him to make an exceptional save is unreasonable. Just be sure to ignore when the other goalie does it.

Consistently the second best goalie every game.
