I find people don't truly watch the game either, poster is complaining and saying it was fluke last year, Matthews again has taken another step in his own end and looks even better then before,
I’ve watched most of the games but I’ll reserve judgement on Matthews’ Yzerman like transformation since the big exam will be in the spring. To his credit, you do see that Selke level backcheck and play without the puck a lot more, and sometimes he throws in a lot of physicality. But it’s not the same every game.
At the end of the day these are great things. But his bread and butter is still going to be a 50 goal 100 point superstar. He’s a bit off that mark.
