If a tipped/deflected shot beats Campbell tonight are the pitchforks gonna come out for him as well? Genuinely curious, just looking for consistency among the board.

See? Fred's crap play has now forced Jack into the impossible position of not even being allowed to have one bad game, even his first game back from injury.

I'm sure if he plays like absolute **** and rolls a tasty sub 900sv% people will get on his back to

Fans tend to have a problem with guys getting paid millions of dollars to suck

We are also not going to win with the just under 4 GAA we have had over the last 7 games either. There is not a single team in the NHL right now who would be able to outscore the holes Andersen has been putting us in. But yes, let's blame our "poor offense" who has been dominating the other team's offense for most of these past few losses. Even while they are going through a colder stretch (which happens to literally every team in literally every season), we've still scored enough to be able to win more than 1 game in this past 7 game stretch because our defense has been good enough to make up for the fact that we only are getting 2.57 goals per game right now. Our goaltending has not.

Red Herring much?

I believe there was about a $45M powerplay unit on the ice a couple of times last night when a single goal would have tied it up. They fell short of doing their part as well.

Much easier to blame the goalie. Hell, we were even able to do that when he posted a .930 in the qualifying series last season.

Didn't actually hear the xylophone shown in the video.
I had that album back in the day. Rick Derringer - Spring Fever. The Band on the record comprised of a mixture of Peter Frampton's band from the live album, Johnny and Edgar Winter. (Edgar does play Marimba on the track). The Dancing girl is actually Derringers wife of the time Liz Brewer, super groupie (read Stones, Hendrix, Steven Tyler, Todd Rundgren, (and Liv Tylers Godmother). Back to hockey...yikes

Don't care how you look on one goal, I care how you look on all of them. But there's only so much handwaving you can do with a .909 into an .897. You can be unlucky for only so long.

Of course not, Jack's the golden boy right now. Tonight's deflected shots will be completely different. (maybe not off our players for example)

Did not know that Derringer (etc.) was in the McCoys. Learn something new everyday. I didn't hear hear the marimba though. But, it could be so much in the background, you can't pick it out. 3 chord triadic song - G C D

Andersen’s shit play against the Jets also made a Hutchison start against Ottawa a must win game last week. Lovely.

If Campbell looks good tonight I don't see how we don't ride him the whole way.. or atleast Andersen can prove he's back to top form.

If Campbell wins tonight, I see us riding him as our starter, Andersen will have to get a shut out during a B2B and a great performance following that to convince us he's back to form. He's been that bad lately that he has to win his seat back.

Though to be fair, the pitchforks aren't out for Andersen because of a single tipped goal. It's a wider sample of debatable play.l this season.

If Campbell looks like he's having a rough go every start he gets I'm sure the critics will be fairly loud. If he plays well folks won't be saying anything
