Important - Tampa got those penalties when the game was out of hand .. they had to "even it up" so that they can go back to Tampa with a clean slate of "fair" calls.

It's not going to be easy down there.

The NHL wants this series to go 7 games .. they'll do their best to make sure it does.

First, it was all tongue in cheek - hench the emoji.

Second, there are some fans who regularly complain that those late intimidation plays are never called against the other team, but only against us.

Well, there are some who complain about the refs every time we lose.

Actually, there are even a few complaining about the refs in a blowout like tonight (I tend to just ignore them).

Did Bowen do something to piss off Sportsnet? Is there a reason given as to why he can't broadcast games on Sportsnet? I'm yet to come across a Leafs fan who prefer the stiffs they have on Sportsnet to JB. Hell, even fans of other teams have said they like the JB/JR tandem.

Exactly correct. Joe wanted to do ALL regional games on TV... Sportsnet told him no, so he chose to do all 82 games on the radio (when not sick).

At this time of year we would still be listening to CC and Simpson since these (playoff) games are all national.
