Can't recall the Leafs ever dominating the Cali trip like they did this week.

Nice W tonight. Stuck with it despite the Ducks playing up tempo and not giving up much early. Gradually took over to get a 3 goal lead and weathered the storm in the third after the Ducks cut it to 3-1.

Excellent performance up and down the lineup. There's things to clean up and not too confident in that Muzzin - Holl pairing but there's always things to nitpick at. Never seen the Leafs play this well for this long ever.

California trip, 15 goals for, 4 goals against. All six points. Great job, great result.

Simmonds played well, Clifford looked ok too. Kerfoot, Nylander, JT, Bunting, AM we’re all good. Campbell of course. D was mostly pretty good too.

Have to eliminate letting up with the lead. Killer instinct, but they held anyway.

My question is: can someone name a leaf goaltender better than Campbell?.. yes I’m going there, this man is incredible, he’s so so so so good it’s actually unbelievable. He’s reliable as hell, he can play in games where he get 17 shots or 40 shots, he can stop the hard ones, he can stop the easy ones he can stop the ones he’s not supposed to. This guy has to be our mvp

It shows some character to stay patient and go with the flow of the game, and then take over slowly.
