There’s precisely no reason to come into a post game thread for a team that just went 12-2 in the month of November and spout nothing but negative garbage.

If you’ve made up your mind that nothing done in the regular season is going to sway your viewpoint, that’s fine, hell plenty of people will ultimately agree what we do in the post season is what actually matters, but we don’t need to keep hearing you tell us that. Like, honestly, why are you even here?

You people are offering nothing to the discussion being had. You’re simply presuming the outcome and deferring all discussion until you’re either proven right or wrong in the playoffs about your negativity.

The only losing mentality is with the team itself and those who choose to make constant excuses about injuries, expected goals, we were unlucky etc etc.
Wow they're really showing me in Nov how wrong I am for not believing they can win big games. I wonder how long the cherrleading will last if they go out again in the first round? Or does the success they had in Nov override that?

No it's more like for some, noone can say anything, ANYTHING negative about Dubas, the team, or 16 in particular. If you do, certain posters swoop in and tell you how elite they are, how playoffs in the past we barely lost, how we were the better team, how your entitled for expecting more at this point, how the collapses weren't actually collapses, how Marner isn't paid to score (yet we expect Ritchie too), how we were just unlucky etc etc. These same posters fail to admit that in the biggest games, playoffs or otherwise, this team folds.

Go waive pom poms do whatever tf you want (I'm not meaning you) - don't tell others how to be fan and how this team, who can't get out of the first round, is a juggernaut and anything else is an illusion. I'll be happy to be proven wrong and will eat crow if/when that time comes. Dekes and Zeke in particular are insufferable these days

I think when peeps talk about "negative type posting" they're talking about the people that say brain dead stuff like "Marner's afraid" or JT is washed up" those are generally the same people who continually see the glass as half-empty! They're normally the same people who when after a loss, start blaming whomever is their personal favourite whipping boy of the week/month/season/defensive pairing/forward, which quickly turns into last seasons playoff loss, which turns into all the playoff losses and then somebody mentions the Kessel trade, which leads to the 1st for Nolan and hovers for a moment over the Courtnall/Kordic trade and lands hard on 52 or whatever it is these days....

I tend not to spew negativity and ignore it as much as possible. I don't hang around too much when it's one LeaFlander after another is making one negative statement after another.
