In isolation he's fine and this contract is fine, but in the totality of the team he's more of what we have

Softer player who is a decent all around forward but struggles to score in the playoffs. We have an overabundance of these guys

Still very early, but pretty underwhelmed by Karnkrok so far.

His skillset seems to similar to Kerfoot - I'm not sure you need both of them on the same line.

These types of players are Dubas's wet dream. He can't help himself. So far from what I've seen, Malgin and Jarnkrok could have been marlie players on friendlier contracts. Steeves and Abruzzese probably could have brought the same production.

I like him, he’s a very good puck handler, has a pretty well rounded skill set, and is pretty decent defensively. He’s a solid 3rd liner, could fill in on the 2nd line in a pinch. Happy with what he brings for $2.1 mil AAV.

I don't think it's so much Jarnkrok being bad, I think it's more of the 1LW and 2LW thing.

Remove the 4 big guys and 1LW and 2LW might be Marlies at best, no offence Bunting.

The bottom 6 doesn't have the bottom 6 version of impact guys, so players like Jarnkrok aren't insulated well.

If we can find a Coleman and Goodrow, just for sake of example, guys like Jarnkrok, okay fine Engvall etc. would suddenly fit in well. Otherwise it will be like this for a while with the odd stretch they win us over at times just to let us down again (and you know when one of those "again" will be).

He gets his points by cleaning up plays or by nice plays by others

He wont be successful offensively until he isbused as a support player on a line with an offensive player.. while still being good two way

He is being underutilized right now in terms of what he can bring.

How’s Calle doing?

Is Dubas getting better value out of him than Treliving got when he traded for him?

Treliving spent a second-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, a third-round pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, and a seventh-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft for him btw.

If Jarnkrok dont work, then it is something wrong with the system. If you can make a use of a Swiss(Swedish) army knife, then it is probably something wrong with the user.

Can u please Keefe get this team together.

I honestly couldn't tell you if he's in the lineup or not on any given night.

You could have left the "playoff" word out. He struggles to score PERIOD. He is invisible out there.

Don't worry, Dubas will spend more draft capital than that to unload him this off-season. Justin Holl needs a raise.

He literally brought nothing to Flames. I said as much when Dubas signed him. Dunno why he signed him, 4 years is a big oof too.

Oilers troll on the Leafs board oofing over a 2x4 yet Campbell making 5x5 and giving same level of goaltending as Kallgren 😂

Play him with Marner and Matthews and let him pad his numbers. Then send him and his bad contract elsewhere. Send Marner packing as well.
