I can’t believe kerfoot got more than Duchene and Domi. Both of those those guys aren’t the best top 6 players, but they are top 6 players. Kerfoot is not.

The JT to the wing and Nylander at center is actually an interesting idea. Could it help the chemistry between the 2? Worth a shot.
I like the 3rd line and perhaps it can be tried at times. But for the most part I think Bert is definitely playing with M & M.

That 3rd line is very intriguing. (Though I think it wouldn't be permanent. Nylander is mostly top 6)
Will Keefe try it? Who knows.
He was criticized so much fir his slow decisions and line juggling last season. Did Dubas have a bigger say then we know? Just thinking out loud. Let's see this year.

I'm not even going to hold the Tkachuk trade against him. He was put in a bad position. I hope he learned from it though. If he has to trade Nylander, we can't have that kind of fleecing.

I still don't get how he got fleeced ?huberdeau and weeger were both top 20 in the league at their positions

Seems like a similar offseason to 2 years ago, just with a different GM.

Which do you folks prefer? Bunting and Ritchie or Bertuzzi and Domi?

Personally I prefer the latter 2 at this point in time.

We paid a great deal more for bertuzzi and domi and bunting is the best of the bunch

Kerfoot is probably going to play 20 minutes a night for Arizona

Domi is better passer than shooter, maybe we see JT move to the wing he's a 13% career shooter Max is a 10% career shooter. Max is a dog on the puck, might be better to see him down low along the boards where JT is so slow. Max has been a pretty shitty FO guy but this past year he was much better at 53% where JY was a 58%.
