He needs waivers next year. He won't be going to the Marlies.

Sandin will probably be a full time guy next year, if he can stay healthy.

Honestly I don’t know but I want it to happen. The only way it happens is if Kadri wants it to. I kind of hope he does.

That's tough to hear. Unfortunately, not a charity business. We already have Simmonds signed through next year on the 4th line. Re-sign Clifford and let him and Simmonds rotate/ duke it out for playing time. Keeps a tough guy in the lineup at all times. Spezza is a great person from everything you hear, and bled blue....but he's just not what he used to be....and a skilled older guy on the fourth line doesn't really fit our needs. Sad news if true, but it's a business. Hope Spezza eventually gets a job in the organization, he clearly is a hockey nerd and I'm sure could be useful somewhere
