He was not what we needed then and he is not what we need now. That money should have been spent on improving The D and goaltending
Spending 50% of the cap an 4 forwards is just not going to cut it

Why isnt he a 80-90 point center on his own accord? He plays with nylander a 65-70 point winger

He makes 11M, is the captain and has been signed to be one of pur bestoffensive players.

He shouldnt need to rely on MM feeding him that's an excuse. JT has to take some respons9bilty and show some competitive spirit. He needs to want to be the best player on the team and stop being passive and deferring. His talent is still there but the drive isnt good enough right now
