Yeah, Hutchinson was literally 4th in our goaltending order to start the season. Says a lot about our luck, or rather lack thereof, in that position so far this season that he's started in 5 games.

Campbell's injury was his leg though, right? Nothing to do with Tkachuk's knee to the head.

He's been a point per game or plus player for most of his career. He doesn't need Marner to do it and with the way he's getting paid he shouldn't need another player to reach that point.

the thing is, chemistry plays a big part in being able to produce. Clearly Marner helped him the last two years. Also he’s been taken off the top power play. They’ve changed up a lot this year that is limiting his ability to produce.

Matthews has proven he can play with Nylander. The Nylander and Tavares experiment isn’t working as well as we thought.

we know that Marner and Tavares play well together so just f***ing put them back together.

Because we dont have cap room to bring in a decent back up; and Freddy is a pending UFA; only team that will trade for Freddy is the one that is contending and needs a solid back up but that would be an expensive back up

Dubas is clueless; leafs are looking good because the north division is a JOKE except for may be Jets

I’m sure there would be a few teams interested in Andersen if he was actually made available.

Agreed but we can’t deny that Andersen won’t cut it. Everything else is fine I’m not concerned all good teams have bad stretches. 2.5 years of bottom of the league starter level play from Andersen after being really good and a potential top 10 goalie is very obvious and we can’t deny that. We have outgrown him sadly. Cause he was part of the build and development of the boys

We have Campbell signed for good problem is he turned out injury prone jeopardizing both current and potentially future plans managment may have had.

How campbell is still hurt is beyond me

He has played 3 out of 30 games this year. That's just an epic fail. His durability is an huge question and we cant have him be the starter next year. Need to get a 1A goalie and have campbell be backup or 1B

No cap room man. the 4 forwards making 50% of the cap have to outscore other team pretty much every night. If they don't then it will be hard to have success.

Its a good thing North Division is pretty weak so Leafs are doing well and on top of that leafs forwards have absolutely no excuse to not outscore other teams especially when no north division team is a defensive juggernaut or have top d-men of the league (hughes and petry are a freakin JOKE)

Apparently the Leafs were 1-12 in a Graham Skilliter called game as of a few years ago.

im gonna look into this. I know he was for 3 badly officiated games so far this season against the Leafs

point being, they had insane chemistry. I still don’t understand why they broke those two up. I get it Marner and Matthews are lethal, but Marner and Tavares are way better together.
