This board is so entertaining.
Ten days ago the Final Four was just a matter of time. Now we're figuring out which TWO core players to get rid of.
Yeah, I agree it's an overreaction. For now. Because the team looked great the first 20 games. But these past 6 games the core looked far more like our much bigger sample size of mediocrity the past few years.

Did the team take the next step, and are currently slumping? Or were the first 20 games a result of Matthews/Marner playing at a completely unsustainable level, and now the teams back to what they always are?

I’m sure there would be a few teams interested in Andersen if he was actually made available.

Edmonton, Carolina, Chicago and maybe Washington.

they have cap issues too. are you willing to take on a dumb contract just to move freddy? and who is going to play goal for us then? do you think we are going to get a solid goalie for 5M and some change?

Yup, almost no chance of making up a goal in the next two periods against the worst team in the league.

Never happen. The know it alls here can see the players thoughts and know they have tossed in the towel. Might as well just call it rather then play 60 mins. Its not like we can ever point to a game in this season even where we have came back to win...

He was brought back to be a 3rd stringer. Which to be fair is basically what he is in terms of abilities.henwoukdnt be playing if Campbell wasn't injured.

He wasn't good as a back-up before and is even worse now.

Shouldn’t but always has and will always be but we don’t have that ability and we keep on getting run at goalies and players
Haha although we ran their goalie first already, not that Willie meant to (he got pushed), but if a player did that to Andersen/our goalie we would be screaming.

IMO.....They are not head and shoulders above the rest of the North, but every reason to expect them to be top 2 when all is said and done.
