You’ll almost never see a player dramatically improve a fundamental skill. He’s been skating for close to 20 years at this point. It’s extremely unlikely to happen. His decision making and anticipation can get better but he’d only inch towards a better skater at this point. Is it getting to the point where it's going to be too late for Sandin to fix his straight line speed/explosiveness?
Agreed but unfortunately the way the leafs have allocated the cap this is what we get and it’s probably going to get worse before it gets better
Lebdahas there been a worse defenseman dawn the blue and white, than Dahlstrom?
Wow. Now that is hard to believe.Joey Crabb was McDavid compare to Mike Craig
That should tell you how bad Mike Craig was as a player
I feel like we can make about 3 4th lines that are NHL-caliber... We actually have too many players right now.
Ah yes, Brett "-3 in a 9-3 win" Lebda. Only time in my life a stat has made me lose my shit.Lebda
I think they should do both to keep teams honest. Run 2 units but have the option and chemistry to load up in big moments, and play them the full 2 min.
I was thinking higher up but he has a full no move no trade……..There is an easy fix. They can deal Mikheyev

Imagine it being Engvall when we had Jimmy Vesey play for us
I was thinking higher up but he has a full no move no trade……..![]()
Not sure why Vesey is the first to come to mind either? He's the definition of a replacement level player to me. Almost no help offensively or defensively, but also didn't hurt the team either.
Lebda is always the first one that comes to mind for me.
Steckle, McLaren, Marincin, Aulie, Franson (so much potential wasted) are s few others.
No way you don't play Engvall. His skating is so flawless
I think he nets you 12-14 goals this year
