57.7xgf% EV, 60.0xgf% ALL

and it was much better than that before Fred shat the bed and let in a bunch of crap goals.
All those stats show me is the leafs lack of finish. Our stars are paid FAR too much money to have such shitty finish.

If I'm Keefe I'm going to Crappy Tire tomorrow and buying a metal trash can and some spray paint. I spray one word on it in all Caps: EFFORT. It gets its own stall. Every loss where we get outworked it gets bounced off all 4 walls in the dressing room.
Marshy for Assistant coach!

I seriously LMAO everytime I see some mornic stats about xgf% etc.. "expected" but did not happen but we gonna talk about it like it happened; ummm Why? because.........

It's not a coincidence that the same people that incorrectly thought the head coach was the Leafs problem now have completely changed their mind and decided that it's the starting goalie that's the problem.

Manner would be hard to trade as well. Nobody else is going to give him that kind of money so we would have to eat some of his contract.

He's part of the team and a big part of the problem. The coach needed to go because we had to know if it was the core or the coach. We are getting a better idea as time goes on.

I think it’s still the head coach, just because he is inexperienced and in over his head......the same goes for Dubas

He hasn't had a good game, but the entire team has also hasnt been good since they went ahead. Blaming everything on 1 player doesn't make sense and is a cop out.

Data to back what up exactly? It is definitely very hard to isolate a goalie impact as defensive coverage contribute so much into the chances faced.

Goalie stats are literally split based on "shots they should have" with LD/MD/HD as their xSV% on shots.

Andersen for basically a year has shown an inability to make any saves other than LD.

Tough crowd. Maybe “kicking ass” was too strong but they did have the Sens on their heels. Had a chance to pressure a tired group before Brodie f***ed up at the blue line (and has subsequently f***ed up in front of our net), Kerfoot line did good work before his goal. Sure they didn’t penetrate too much but I mean f*** they were doing better than they have been since.

I just compare the Leafs to out of town games and their effort level and organization and compete level on each play is well below average for contending teams. Their perimeter play just wasn’t that useful. Great teams don’t have these no show signature games with this kind of frequency.

Wish we didn't trade Brown, always thought he was a good player but glad he is getting his chance in Ottawa where he was really productive at 5 on 5

Disagree actually.

The poor teams would LOVE Marner. They'd sell their souls to get him and his contract. The poor teams care only about real dollars, not cap. If he were traded now/soon, they'd get 5 years (including this weird year) at $35 million. Or 5 years, 7 mil per.

I would take Tom Wilson straight up for Marner tomorrow and pay 2 years of the remaining contract. We are simply too easy to play against.
