The poor teams would LOVE Marner. They'd sell their souls to get him and his contract. The poor teams care only about real dollars, not cap. If he were traded now/soon, they'd get 5 years (including this weird year) at $35 million. Or 5 years, 7 mil per.

Ya I forgot about him getting his billions up front. Lol

Nope. He's just getting more left out to dry the further we get into this Dubas experimental all-offence, no-defence approach.

It won't be long before there's no scapegoats left and Dubas is sent packing luckily.

Goalie stats are literally split based on "shots they should have" with LD/MD/HD as their xSV% on shots.

Andersen for basically a year has shown an inability to make any saves other than LD.

How exactly are those dangers levels quantified? I don't believe those ones include anything but their position on the ice relative to the net which doesn't include a ton of variables like if it is on the rush, a 2 on 1, cross seam pass etc. The amount of breakaways and 2 on 1s the leafs give up is really really bad and that will 100% have an influence on stats like that that don't quantify those influences perfectly or even well most of the time.

I'm not particularly happy with our top guys tonight. Matthews and Marner in particular, though Rielly hasn't had a great game either.... lots of puck possession, but they look neutered, and no real danger... they need to turn it up some. There is just no structure at either end.
