Post-Game Talk: Leafs remind the Oilers and their fans who their Papi is

I can summarize Oiler fans crying, but please be sitting down, it's hilarious: They lost because of officiating... Yeah. The team who got powerplays for diving with no contact. It wasn't the terrible defence and poor passes. It was the refs! Hahaha wtf? Matthews abused all game and Kane losing his head.. nope, the refs helped the Leafs?... Hahahahahaha

And that's what happens when you watch a team that commits non-stop infractions with the expectation that the refs will game manage to make it fair so their PP can beat yours

Hey guys and gals, remember when it was 3-1 Oilers and then Marner spotted a potential interception (you could see him anticipating it) and made insane moves to deke the goalie?

And then we proceeded to score more and more goals and win 7-4 with a sieve of a goalie in our net?

I still remember that! Good times! (seriously what a fun game tonight, ugly, but they were way uglier!)

This takes the #2 spot in favourite wins against the Oilers: Here's the other because it's one of my fave's of all time against any team:

I know Leafs fans have a bunch who are super arrogant when it suits them, but I think we have a large portion that realize that we actually suck and expect the worst, but I swear Oilers fans are just so cocky across the board, that I actually don't mind trash talking a bit even though I'm not really like that.

It's weird.

It's really weird that McDavid probably dreams of sleeping in Tavares' childhood bed and wearing his pajamas.

Nothing has changed, still looking right to the ref after any play that doesn't go his way.

Good thing Murray is Woll's backup who's backing up Samsonov when the playoffs start (I mean I hope)

Actually that's an interesting thought. Could Murray play for the Marlies in the AHL playoffs?

I was honestly rooting for MM and he started out amazing but has unfortunately turned into precisely what other fans predicted.
 
Playoff Intensity game and after a shaky start. We pulled through.

At the start...Oilers were sharper and more poised in their zone. Leafs had trouble making passes.
Seemed like the heavier oilers play at first made us rush a bit.
Murray could've been better but credit to the oilers for the pressure. Mcdavid is no joke.

Later on Keefe seemed to have adjusted a few things and our new additions and overall team buy in esp. Bunting made a commitment to playing a bit harder and aggressive. Marner is a Stud. Matthews has underrated presense and JT when he is on he is ON. Willie is Willie the same stud all season long.

Game would've been closer if it wasn't for Nurses bone headed plays.
Keefe needs to get ahead of this new crew and adjust quicker.
We need Murray to get his mojo back.
Acciari was a beast in the 3rd.

Great comeback win. Thank You Marner, Matthews, and Taveras !!!

Murray needs to be better. Same with the NHL referees. They were simple atrocious !!!

How are they actually blaming the refs on the Oil board? 3 of those offsetting penalties should've been Leaf PPs and at least two of their PPs were clear dives.
