LMAO!!!!!

Fun fact: Oilers are closer to the 19th placed Capitals and almost the 20th place Detroit Red Wings than they are to the Leafs by points percentage.

How lucky for them to be playing in the Western conference. If they had to play teams like Toronto, Boston, Carolina, NJ etc more than twice they would be hoping the lotto balls go the right way.
Their last 12 games features 7 against San Jose, Arizona and Anaheim.

I think this was a one-off post.

Looking at the comments in their Forum, I see a lot credit being given to the Leafs and honest observations at the Oilers faults and mistakes. They aren't ignoring their Teams warts.

Every fanbase has it's knee-jerk Kool-Aid drinkers, but I don't see anything over-the-top being said to be honest.

Enjoy the win, and here's to the next one!

*Terrible reffing tonight.
*Murray...I don't know, but he does manage to hold out some good attempts when it matters.
*Mitch Marner is a good hockey player.
*Great PP tonight.
*Very happy to see Acciari rewarded.
*McCabe, excellent addition.

*Overall solid defensive performance by the team. We've had a couple of these lately. For all the grief Keefe has taken for the 7 D line-up, I can't fault the play of any of them tonight, Edmonton does have some talent and we were, for the most part, able to force them to the outside and keep them from the more dangerous areas of the ice. I applaud our Centers for playing down low and giving the D some bump pass options to help relieve pressure. That stretch of our boys on fire in the second was a pleasure to watch. Good game, two teams trying to get their playoff mojo going meant some pretty high intensity hockey, marred by some awful officiating. GLG!
Terrific .

Sportsnet is still taking about how good the oilers have been tonight. I always thought that if you lost 7 to 4 you never played that good
They have to or else they can’t get any viewers from Western Canada, lol.

We were the best team tonight by an absolute mile

Murray tried his best to keep them in it but the Oilers are going to Oil and sucked even harder to pull out the loss

There goaltending is a bottomless hole of sucktitude and it's boarderline criminal they didn't do something about it at the deadline
