The only good thing about this final week is getting to see Knies play for us tbh before we can get excited again for hockey for the 1st time since like November/December. I know people probably assume Knies is a shoe in for our playoff lineup but atm I don't think he is as much as some might think. Idk how roster moves work at this time of year but could he still play for the Marlies and their playoff push since he might be needed more down there then up here.
If he can help the NHL team he is playing for them. I think he’s going to be given a good look over these last 3 games to determine whether he can be impactful. Leafs are the priority every day over the Marlies.

Learning that Lafferty being out is the reason Knies is in puts a damper on his debut. Christs sake we need to wrap these guys in bubble wrap it seems.

If leafs decide to go split PP unit give knies the JVR role and see what he can do

Feel he would do well with Marner feeding him down low.

Probably not going to be a consistent pairing until next year with playoffs so close but Knies will be a double digt PP goal scorer for us as long as we give him the opportunity

Hopefully Lafferty is okay.
Knies-Acciari-Kerfoot is a potential line they could use in the playoffs if wanted or required

Panthers must hate this.

The guys banged up plus Knies in gives a reason for the rest of the boys to play spoiler as none of the stars will be resting that much with 11/7.

The Leafs injury stats are insane this season and they don't even take into account guys like Matthews playing through that hand half the season and the boys are still on pace for close to 110 points.

oh 100%, but atm our bottom 6 has looked really good and if our stars can produce and Keefe can coach well enough then Knies might not be needed like that unless injuries happen. Saying that though, I'd much rather him playing over sitting in the pressbox waiting for an injury to happen. Marlies could use him since the offence dried up down there since the deadline. I just don't know how roster moves work this time of year so if an injury did happen could we call him up from the Marlies? I'd assume so right? Be stupid if you couldn't.

This league is f***ed.

Like Papetti says, the parties with the biggest issue to this will be Pittsburgh and the Islanders if the ATO has to play and he gets torched. Not our fault this league has it out for the Leafs and won’t permit an emergency call up.

EDIT: I cannot stress enough that my main point is that it's bad from THE LEAGUE'S PERSPECTIVE to not allow this emergency recall. I don't care about helping Pittsburgh or NYI. I'm saying it'd be in the league's best interest to let tonight's game with playoff implications be played as competitively as possible and not let one of two playoff spots left be left to the chance of an ATO goalie coming in.

I don't like that Samsonov has to play again. Starting 3 in a row and playing in 9 of the last 10 games... He's already had a couple of injury scares. f***ing Murray
Murray's reliability is a problem, but there are still other options besides Sammy playing again that would probably be preferable

Wasn't Woll getting emergency recalled for the game? I hope they aren't going to have to start him back to back against Tampa who will running him tomorrow.

His hands look silky smooth to me.

Obviously can get better... but nope, he has good hands.

His hands in tight seem to be particularly good.

I think his hands are some of his best attributes.

People are acting like he is some big unskilled power forward.

this one shows his hands better

It’s not that they’re not silky, it’s that he bobbles. You can see the puck roll on many of those plays but he powers through and recovers.
