Nor do I think the Leafs will make it a permanent thing, but I think they will keep the three of them around until they are forced into a decision.

I beg to differ. If he happens to get shelled (and with this team's D sometimes, that's not out of the realm of possibility) you could destroy his confidence, especially if you don't run him back out the very next game to combat that. Better he develops in the A without a million angry idiots bombarding social media when he gives up a couple of stinkers against a bottom feeder (who always seem to play us like it's game 7).

That's what they keep telling us. Goalies are all interchangeable plugs. It's only a matter of who gets hot at the right time.

All those teams with a Vezina winning goaltender making the finals seemingly every year is coincidence.

It's just bad luck the Leafs keep getting goalied. Has nothing to do with the team's questionable defense and style of play. A system that requires the netminder to stand on his head every night.

This team is destined to remain mired with mediocre goaltending.

There's a number of factors at play. Keefe's system being hard on goalies is one of them. Shanahan not knowing a good netminder if it bit him in the ass is another.

The Leafs goaltenders are also all cursed.

Samsonov sucks but so does Jones. He is like .860 or 870 in the AHL this year. Pinning our hopes on a guy who hasn’t posted a .900 save% in 5 years is beyond stupid.
Time to call up Hidelby to see if he can help before we have to make a trade.
