Tkachuk would 100% do that, he’s a beautiful player.

My point is, everyone in the NHL should take a shot at a player in that situation and the Ottawa player should be expecting to get bombarded the second it crossed his mind to take the shot. Yes, sticks get high.

Not so sure but definitely possible given Paros uses a dart board to decide what punishment to hand out. Remember Hyman got 3?? games for the tiny hit on MacAvoy and Marchand getting nothing for slew footing Lily. Can you not see how this was very important for the team? The last thing we saw last season was Gudas screaming in our goalies face. We cannot let that stuff slide and be a unified team at the same time. Hopefully the core takes note because Keefe certainly did. Something we haven’t had the entire time with this core is unification. If Rielly can’t get it no one can. We will see how the boys respond but I’m very glad something with this team has changed.

It wasn't important to the team. It was harmful to the team. We're going to be removing our best defenseman from an already defensively-weak team for our pre-deadline sprint; fighting for one of the final playoff spots. Nothing has changed. We've done stuff like this before; year after year. It quickly gets forgotten, and fans and media will go back to their nonsense "soft" narrative tomorrow. If he wanted to respond, then respond in a way that doesn't invite this corrupt league and brain dead Parros to throw the book at him. Or at least throw Reaves out to take a suspension, so we can take our pound of flesh and only lose somebody who sucks.
