Goalie wasn’t very good and the defense is concerning for sure. Threw away a winnable game.

Matthews and Marner were the best two players as they should be, Knies was better and thought that was Domi’s best game in awhile.

The rest need to be a lot better.

It's not, and it won't have any bearing. It is just amature. He has NEVER @'d them before, but feels the need to "draw" their attention on this play? He also ranted (on air) on the Matthews play vs Dahlin a couple years ago.

He should stick to being a supposed insider and reporting ON the rulings instead of trying to influence them (again, not that he would).

I doubt very much they need some tweet to get their attention. They would have known before the tweet was even written.

Missing the playoffs would be the best enema this team deservedly needs. I'm no Keefe lover and he isn't an x and o's academic but the players have to own this even more than him. They don't have a heart and soul. No coach can be successful with that kind of team. Babs understood that.

If the team is making pee wee mistakes as Keefe himself says perhaps it's time we had a coach that did something about it?


These guys are nothing if not skilled yet the amount of stupid fundamental errors they make is crazy, it's up to the coach to do something about it besides complain in the media

If it's similar to @'ing on other platforms it pretty much notifies the @'ed account that someone mentioned them

It doesn't really do much for the PA as they'll be seeing the hit either way, but just seems weird he decides to start trying to get attention of the PA now all of a sudden

If the Leafs play a clean game they more often than not win.

If they turn the puck over and put pressure on their D, they more than often lose.

If our top guys are not good, they rarely win.

Their goalie was better, but if our skaters played a cleaner game, he was good enough to win imo.

Rince and repeat.

Nick Robertson has to have personally insulted Sheldon Keefe

Robertson looked a lot better than I thought he would. Was skating, cycling well, setting up chances.

Please Keefe, play him either L1 or L2. Hes a 700K player who can give us 40+ EVS offense. Use him right.

Why does that matter? It's not like he's informing them about it, who cares.

It's the double standard of it all. There have been many dirty plays over the years in the NHL that happened on HNIC with the assumption the DoPS would look into it. Not once has Friedman felt the need to go out of his way to tag the DoPS Twitter account. It won't or at least shouldn't have any bearing on what they'll do but it's a bizarre thing for him to do when he's never done it before and far worse has been done in this league without him feeling the need to comment in such a way.

Yeah, that is a fair point tonight.

I felt there were three obvious calls, the high stick on McCabe that the ref saw can felt was not a high stick, of that it was Tavares' stick, which it was not.

There was a hook on Marner as he was in the slot, and there was a slash on Matthews I think it was, that one was less obvious I think.

Give Lily full offensive freedom. Give him PP1 usage. Tell him to be cobfident and assertive with the puck

Niemela PP2 and gets Sandin 2022 treatment.

Lily gets 4-6 games to show he has some offensive chops and can be the guy for PP2 and play a more up tempo game when Rielly is back

For the record, he has not blocked me lol But I do know a few people he has for asking legit questions that went against his story or narrative as it were.
