This is the first time I've seen the Leafs not be intimidated by the Bruins - except for the core 4 and Liljegren.

We can add Edmundson in for Lilly and then offer the core 4 money to not be intimidated?

Unless we get to the SCF.

Core 4 needs to be split up. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Can't have the 4 most expensive players, and be the most spineless including your Captain FFS.

Look at Marchand... Guys a Leader for the entire Team with or without the C.

So sick of Dubas and Shanny sticking by these cowards.

Bertuzzi and Domi being leaders.
Knies gets KO and core 4 does nothing, Reminds me of Florida last year.

I do not like this iteration of this team with these 4.

You know what, I am looking forward to seeing the Bruins in the playoffs. Either these guys are very sick or they had money on the Bruins and tanked the game on purpose. Timbits hockey out there. Props to Domi, Bertuzzi, McCabe, and Beniot for giving it back to those pricks.

resume of this game in 2 word

William Nylander... he was the game changer but not posutively

completly stupid risky soft play at the blue line, breakway and cost game winning goal.

3rd goal, he completly stop playing... HOW YOU CAN PLAY THAT WAY in a gane like that so important... it was the same exact nylander who had been on the ice for 56 % of tampa even strenght.

unstead of being 1-1, itd was 3-1 with basically a game over, story of the night

after boston 3rd goal, he should sit on the bench for the rest of the game... Leafs will never win anything until player still playing that way!!! its simple you cant win like that, just impossible

Nylander was playing some unserious all-star weekend hockey when a street fight was breaking out around him and his teammate Knies was getting hurt. That casual ice dance was so out of place. He should be embarrassed with his approach tonight.

No es bueno. The thing about being tough and gritty is that it only works if the other team is not. I don't think anyone on Boston is afraid of being pushed around by Tyler Bertuzzi.

Also, I don't think Liljegren plays a playoff game for this team.

Really crazy and so coincidental that Marchand keeps accidentally injuring our players. I loved a lot of the push back throughout the game. And right after it went 4-1 I liked that we seemed to be running around hitting and playing physical. And then it stopped. I give them a bit of a break because of the apparent flu and back to back, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed by the lack of any urgency in the last 8 minutes or so. Domi and Bertuzzi excepted.

My boat usually goes in the water around the same time the Leafs get eliminated from the playoffs. I doubt this year will be any different

I think we learnt some good stuff tonight, legitimately.

The support caat did their job. They didn't back down. They stayed aggressive and stayed in the game. That bodes well.

Looks like it is Sammy's net even though the organization looks to be wanting Woll to win the job. We got outgoalied in both games.

Edmundson needs to come in for Liljegren in the playoffs because the Bruins will target him all series and he won't stand up for himself, leading others to not only have to worry about their own game, but his too.

We need to pick up a pking forward tomorrow and remove Nylander from the PK.

We really, really, really need to sit the core 4 down in a room with Sheldon and Brad and have a conversation. We need to find out what it is that they want. What are you wanting to achieve here? What does that look like in their eyes? What do they feel the have to do in order to achieve that?

We won't go anywhere the way the four of the played in the last two games against Boston. There needs to be a clear the air talk with them. Their play is simply unacceptable given what they wanted (and what we gave them) to be paid.

If we can sort this out, we will beat the Bruins in the playoffs, I am sure of it.

Well team likely only has 4 or 5 games so unlikely he does.
