He was awful for us all year. Could have at least gotten a physical player with his spot.

Thornton as a league minimum signing has been fine. The issue is the Leafs have likely given him a bit too much favorable usage

Well I thought Simmonds had a good game, my avatar aside. He wasn’t a liability and made some decent defensive plays. Thornton was by far the more useless player with his giveaways.
