Going to have to step up and actually out play the other team at some point if they want to win. The Leafs have only clearly been better than the opposition in 1 game of the playoffs so far.

f***ing hate losing this way. Got goalied, wasted powerplays, a bunch of brain-dead mistakes that ended up in the back of our net. What a waste.

Also got outplayed consistently 5on5.

Bob played really well, and the Leafs got no luck tonight. A better start than game 1 the last series.

Having all these upsets in the 1st round was probably the worst thing for the Leafs. They will be playing down to their opponents and get goalied like they did in the regular season. They looked like they could take over the game at will, but decided to pass to score and take defensive risks.

Overall a solid effort. Panthers are beatable. The team just could not complete a simple pass and Bobrovsky had a lot of luck on his side tonight. But Leafs need to step it up for next game. Team made some terrible decisions/pinches all game. Nylander needs to drive the net also. Panthers had a lot of puck luck on their side tonight (2nd goal off Knies Deflection, 3rd goal off a terrible pinch and 4th goal due to Sammy being over aggressive). Onto Game 2,
