I have a sinking feeling that we head back to FLA down 0-2. Please don't do this to me.

Sheldon Keefe = JOKE

and

I've seen enough of Giordano's old ass. Scratch him. I don't care about his feelings. This isn't a charity function. This is NHL playoffs

So Bob had a great game. Leafs played well enough to win. It doesn't mean mistakes weren't made and the Leafs couldn't tighten things up...starting with the shifting schizophrenic lineup. Keefe needs to stop fing around. Marner had a shit game but part of it was too many duties. Is he a shutdown guy or is he a scoring guy? I don't know and neither did Keefe it appears. On Willy, what could possibly motivate him to not play to his strength other than coaching instruction. So weird to see him not play a power move when he could have stuffed it down their throats. Pushing the kid to slow down the game is hancuffing him. He needs to play with Knies. O'Reilly needs a boost too so match them up. Here is the puzzling move...

Really disappointing game but I expected it. They didn't show up in game 1 last series, so with more rest and Florida just playing 2 days ago I thought it would go that way.

Really unfortunate how much they dominated the 2nd but ended up with a tie score in that period and another back breaking late period goal... They really need to stop with that shit because it's getting old.

Florida loved to open it up but I think the leafs should try and limit that as much as possible and play tighter like the did against Tampa.

After a great first round McCabe was a bit trigger happy. Bad decision to join the rush which resulted in that 3rd goal.

Hopefully they take Florida more seriously now and they have a strong bounce back game.

I still think knies should be on the 3rd line to give it a much needed boost. The leafs looked their best when he was their and they had 3 lines that could generate a lot of offence.

We got punched in the mouth, metaphorically, are we happy with being champions of Tampa Bay/Toronto series or do we dust ourselves off and get off the mat and prove we belong here?

Not sure what last night was but it sucks losing to a team I think is inferior in everyway.

GM 1 loss means Sweet FA. Different opponent for sure but I think Leafs will match. Definetely gonna have to get someone to move Tkachuk. I would get one of the Leafs speedy forwards to constantly attack on Staal side.

It is only one game, I agree. Florida is a much faster team than Tampa though so I don't see their forecheck letting up all series long.

Leafs will have to counter attack on the overly aggressive style that the Panthers play.

Florida is also 5-0 when scoring first in these playoffs. Leafs need to come out and score first so Florida has to play their game and chase the Leafs.

Samsonov has to be better too.

100%
Sammy looked good on a few occasions but rebound control was suspect. Leafs did prove they can rebound very quickly.

Not even down about this game. This was a fun game, both teams had their chances, both teams played an entertaining game.

Both goalies were great, big hits, amazing saves, great goals, refs didn’t control the action.

I love hockey

My only thought on the move is he must not have realized the dman wiped out abd thought he was still in his back hip? He's shown a willingness to drive the net over the last couple seasons (including this playoffs) so I hope that's what happened - because you're right, bizarre move there.

Tampa was quicker than the Leafs and were able to jump on loose pucks on the forecheck and cycle, but they seemed to play a slower North South game. Last night, Florida played faster than TB ever did and if they maintain that level, it’ll pose a huge challenge to the slower Leafs.

Agree 100%! Either play 11/7, or give Gio a rest. He's looking his age out there!
Can't see him ever sitting him, so maybe 11/7 again.

So if the Leafs lose the next game, do you throw in Woll? Maybe a star might be born to take over the series?

Fun playoff game.
Bob is a weird goalie. Unplayable then Vezina. Last night the latter.
Gonna be a good series.

LMAO that was one of the more hilarious sequences I've seen.

After he makes Mahura look like a fool, he had a direct line to the front of the net with no defender close but skates it back into the middle and by the end 4 Florida players are then in defensive position.

When he makes the spin move he most likely assumed that Mahura was still close and he possibly didn't know he blew a tire but in real time it was very confusing.

This was it. He figured the dman was still on him.
