Anyway Keefe pisses me off. Is it all on him.. no. But he's stupid sometimes.

The stars on this team have to win this series though... otherwise this core is done. No doubt about it.

However it's 1 game. So regroup and win the next one. That's it.

Next game though its easy... Knies and Lilly in.

Holl and Bunts out.

Still think Leafs in 6.

O’Reilly and Acarri were decent but I think both must’ve been shocked at the attitude of their teammates.

right now I’d sign O’Reilly long term and trade M&M in the off season for a pile of picks and prospects.

Bunting doesn't have a history if I remember correctly so it'll probably just be 1 game. If we play well enough and win with Knies then Bunting could be sitting longer than that.

Its Parros against a Leaf 2 games is a minimum. if bunting only gets 1 game I'd call that a win

That first goal was just Holl to a T.

Egregious suicide pass to the slot in front of his goalie, followed by no cycle control, followed by not taking the man when he has the clear opportunity to land a clean hit.

Just f***ing disgusting.

No idea why the Leafs started so poorly. This is a matchup you've known for months vs the Team that eliminated you last season. That should be more than enough motivation to get on your horse and get going. Not sure if it's a coaching issue or the core in Toronto is just rotten and unfixable at this point. Either way it's unacceptable.

I like it but I think Bunting gets at least 2 game suspension. That was an elbow to the head, even if bunting is in I;d like to keep marner and nylander away from Tavares. Tavares has been terrible for 5 on 5 hockey this season

Unfortunately they don’t learn any lessons. We have been watching this sort of thin for 7 playoffs now and nothing changes.
This game was just like 50% of the games they have played since the trade deadline.
the only thing they learned tonight is that Tampa is still a good team and they are in trouble

It has yet to be seen, we will only know depending on how they respond in the upcoming game. It was never going to be an easy series and if anyone thinks that is deluding themselves. I think we can pull up our gear but it is definitely on them after all the additions on the trade deadline.
The only thing I hope they understand is the refs will NOT do any favors and expecting them to do so is foolish as hell. If this is a sprint sure, but it's supposed to be a marathon.

Personally, I'm not going to make any pronouncements after just one game. They either finally show that they're capable of bringing it when faced with adversity, showing that they've learned from their past experiences, or they don't and they flop. But we won't know for sure one way or the other for a few games still

Though we have seen this pattern before. Overcome the adversity they created for themselves. Ride high like its mission accomplished only to get pulled back into the fight only to come up short at the bitter end. If someone told me the Leafs were scripted like the WWE I would believe it.

Previous suspensions he had the Kadri has a history excuse to do so. He doesn't have that now so if it's more I'm sure it'll be appealed and won.
