Samsonov was awesome in the first, lost it afterwards.

3 goals he should have had.

Entertaining game.

Leafs were right there except in net.

Samsonov has been very good, but he isn't going to win every game.
How can other teams always score on perfect shots so easily? Our $11M have trouble doing it.

Samsanov makes saves on those 3 woofs and it is a different game.

Even the shift where they were hemmed in for 2 minutes, a crappy goal to let in. Makes that save and they escape.

Keefe is at heart a minor league coach with a minor league vision. He is seriously over rated for the job. Gifted with an abundance of talent but dosen't have the know how nor attributes required to make them winners. We will never win with him at the helm just obeying directives from above....This whole mgmt group & some of the core have to go. We need a different mindset and culture change....both on and off the ice.
And Babs was too big of a meanie? Sganahan, Dubas and Keefe have all questioned this cores grit. If there is one thing that you can't teach, it's passion/grit. Mind you it's not like Dubas knows what Grit is.... Hes brought in Spezza, Thornton and Marleau as mentors.... I'd say they did a great job. Those guys went through there careers as questionable leaders.both Marleau and Thoenton we're stripped up their Cs at some point...that wasn't humiliating enough for them to leave their comfort zones though. Marleau left for money eventually... Go figure huh. Oh and h broke the record for most games played. he must be made of rubber or he mustn't play very gutsy. Think he actually has all his teeth too... Which has to be incredibly difficult to do over such a long spanning career. Oh well... Believe Kessel has the record for iron man streaks. -/yet another incredible gutsy player. Jeesh..why did we Lou lam want him gone?

- I don't think Sandin can handle playoff hockey and it showed once again tonight, he got destroyed by Boston's forecheck. To be fair, Liljergen wasn't any better, his worst game of the season by far
- This team needs more scoring prowess, outside of Matthews/Nylander there isn't much to consistently rely on
- Goaltending has some highs but boy does it got some lows. Samsonov was awful in the 2nd/3rd, gave up 3 goals that he should have had. I worry about the mental side of the game for him

There must be lots of acrimony in that dressing room over 5 guys earing up half the cap and barely breaking a sweat. Their collective attitude is disgusting & their effort worse. Superb talent but no determination, leadership etc etc...also Tavares is not Captain material...sounds and acts more like a cyborg.

Sammy gets a pass. Off 2nd n 3rd.

D was rough.
Offence not dangerous at all.

We are really good, but….
I just don’t see a Championship team.

Dubas has work to do.

Yes, who scored for the Bruins?

Zacha with 2, Forbort, Greer, Carlo.

Pastrnak, Marchand, Bergeron, Hall, Krejci total of 2 points.

Leafs need another center, Tavares and Kerfoot as your top 2 won't cut it.

Another top 6 winger would go a long way.

Soft goals will kill ya.

That said: I’m not sure how anybody could see a real cup contender with the leafs this year. It’a a solid team, a good team, as usual, but outside of the rare game here or there it’s never a dominant looking group. Gotta be better than what we have now.

Probably the worst execution by our 6 D all season. Every one of them were atrocious.

After a great start of the game by Sammy, things got away from him in the second half of the game.

In a game where we needed him to be his best, Marner was terrible despite scoring a goal.

That was a winnable game if the team played tight and made the B's work for it.

Thought they worked hard, but were ineffective for the most part.

Leafs D is too soft; did you see what Boston D was doing? they were taking the body and punishing in the d-zone every chance they got; Leafs D is freakin' charmane soft.

leafs d does with "poke checks"; Bruins players or any opposition player(s) can come in our zone fearless knowing full well he will not have to pay the price.

Not playing like he did tonight, but we know he's played much better more nights than not.
I agree but the playoffs is much different and I love the guy but he always found a way to let a bad goal in when it mattered.

Murray is never healthy.

Goaltending worries me come playoff time.

Paging Kyle Dubas and Shanahan

It is gangsta for him to say this, but he is leaving tens of millions of real world money on the table to pursue excellence in a kids game so he can one day do shirtless keg stands with his teammates again...

I'm joking of course, Marchand deserves respect for being poorly paid in pursuit of winning. It's criminal that he makes less money in 2023 than Mats Sundin was making in 2000. The real villain here is Gary Bettman who has created some nonsense economy where ticket prices don't seem to match entertainment values and players have to choose between fair pay and on ice excellence. Imagine if Michael Jordan had to choose between winning a championship or getting paid. Pathetic league.
