Not when the opposing goalie has more quality starts than your goalie.
 
Because Campbell is made of glass and Hutch-man is ECHL-tier goalie Andersen was forced to play through injury which hurt his stat line. Now this golden boy backup is coming back to earth and same fans who praised him to heaven will turn on him on next few weeks. If he plays even couple more games. I kind of hope that, because if Andersen returns now those morons still believe this backup guy. To health of this team is better that this backup guy burns and ruins his stats and after that media and fans welcome Andersen with open arms.

How is it that the coaches aren't trying something different? You're facing the same teams over and over again - they know what you're trying to do.

You have to think the whole script will be re-written when this team is healthy and at full strength with the Foligno addition.
 
Leafs are like 9–2-2 in their last 13 and you people are complaining.

you all can’t be this stupid. Some of you it’s obvious. But most? Cmon now.

After digesting the last few games, I do not feel good. They are sloppy and lackadaisicale. The special teams are horrible and now the goaltending has come back down to Earth. This is a not great timing. Something more than a platitude needs to happen right away.
 
The reality is most of you are dreadful at analyzing hockey. If you were any good you’d be making a career off gambling. Instead ppl show up to these threads after every loss complaining, and after every win planning the parade.
 
The Leafs have played some poor uninspired hockey in their last 3 losses.

Lots of mistakes and giveaways that one would think were hopefully declining as we head towards the playoffs.

The PP of 1 for its last 50 + attempts including a 5-3 yesterday is almost unbelievable.

I will never turn on Campbell. he's great. want him part of this team no matter how things go moving forward. I really hope he returns to how he has been all season. would love for him to become the starter but if not He's more than capable as a backup. we will see how things go. in the end whatever is best for the team overall is what I care about.
I really hope people don't start to bash Campbell

Why is Malhotra the PP coach anyway, when he was a defensive forward? Next thing they'll be letting Tie Domi run it. Maybe he could be the new Marlie's coach.
 
Only the 3rd time this year we lost by 3 goals....and they needed an empty netter to get there.

We have yet to lose a game by more than 3gls.

The PP can or make a playoff run.

Ppl are right to shit on the PP, it's failed us the last few playoff series. They need to fix it asap.

It's averaging 17% over the last two playoffs.

I cant disagree with you but the Andersen haters have been here for years, he could have had a 20 game shutout streak and they would have found something to bitch about.

End of the day an injured player should always get a mulligan. Kerfoot last year had the broken jaw, he deserves a mulligan for last years crappy effort. I'm not a big fan of his game but at the same time I'm not going to crap on him, the guy had a broken jaw.

Andy is 0-8 in elimination games..... and has played like garbage for a year and a half. I liked him. Proud of what he did with the team. But to Argue Andy has been anything but below average since his allstar game is silly

Yes that’s definitely a good sign. Seems like this team has the ability to keep things close even on the worst of bad nights. I feel like I can count the number of times we were noticeably outplayed on just one hand; it’s only been maybe 3-5 times imo.

There’s simply no need for an organization or a fanbase to be loyal to a goalie like Andersen with that kind of track record in the playoffs.

The Washington Capitals went through Varlamov, Neuvirth, Holtby, Grubauer and others during their big decade plus long climb to the cup.

I think the team is fatigued. They have played a TON of games. I think you will see a natural dip followed by another dominant streak. 9-2-2 is not bad at all and I believe they will turn it back up after rest (plus bodies get healthy)

The PP is concerning though. I would love to see the 1st unit have Muzz or Holl at the top with Matty and Robertson on each side shooting 1 timers.

Your stat line is wrong. Andersen and Ducks got into 3rd round. So Andersen won two elimination games that year.

Backup Campbell have only few games left before fans and media turn on him. Before May comes Backup will be cursed. Same way like Sparky Sparks. What a day that will be.
