Still. Play til 11. Fly to Boston. Spend all day worrying about a legal case then playing?

Those 2 .5 PPG seasons you mentioned are irrelevant, Pastrnak made the league in his draft year because he was too good for the AHL at 18, Nylander wasn't even in the NHL for those 2 seasons except for 20 games in the 2nd year.
how can you say that about a roster featuring Trevor Moore?I do not particularly care much for anyone on this roster.
Either way, that's still a headache.

the "structure" is absolutely fineBabcock won't last the season. They can't waste this season. Babcock is part of the problem. He can't get this team to play with any good structure.
Babcocks last game?
love me some fired up skeletor!
the "structure" is absolutely fine
the roster is "VERY FLAWED" and our so called big guns are playing like crap
That's my point. He's allowed to look a little lost tonightno. A phone conference.

Boston's build was just a different model than ours, you can't compare them IMOPittsburgh won two cups with Kessel one of their best players. He was the poster child for what people consider "not a player you win with."
Guess where Boston was when they were at this stage of their current build?
If anyone has been around long enough you will have seen teams quit on their coaches.
Well, this is what it looks like.
The problem is, these players have always been lazy in their own end. There's at least one goal a game it seems where the opposition just skatesIf anyone has been around long enough you will have seen teams quit on their coaches.

The best goalie tandem is prob Gisbon/Miller. The Ducks are lucky he wants to be in Cali. I guess money and situation are both important to securing a solid back-up. Juggling will be difficult on next years overhaul, but at least you have assets to trade. The bad thing about these overpayments is they can't even get a back-up goalie that's capable of winning games while Andy is resting...wtf is that? Is the back-up goalie not important and not part of the team that he can't even afford an extra million to get one? The only reason Barrie is able to fit in the roster is because Sakic swallowed half of his current salary...Dubas is doing some major juggling because of his overpayments...he better be praying day and night that Sandin and Lily with their ELCs will be ready to play in the NHL next season...the defense will have a major overhaul after this season...and one of Johnsson and Kapanen might have to go if Mikheyev is getting resigned. Does this sound like a winning recipe to you? Do Matthews and Marner play goal and defense too?

how is it fine? Leafs are 20th in point percentage, 18th in xgf% at 5v5 (24th in all situations), and 22nd in high danger% at 5v5 (25th in all situations). in terms of corsi sure it's fine, but I don't care if the leafs are good at missing the net and getting shots blocked as they get absolutely murdered in dangerous areas of the ice and keep losing gamesthe "structure" is absolutely fine

When you ask to be paid like the best players in the league, you better play like it when you go head to head against the best.
Marner and Matthews were downright dominated and embarrassed. Boys vs men out there without a guy like Tavares to help them out.
Hope they learn from this. Otherwise we're in trouble.
Looks more like a lazy group of scared players to be honest. If anyone has been around long enough you will have seen teams quit on their coaches.

Sure. The point was that we're still at a stage where the best teams of the last 15 years began their winning, and some here have already given up hope in this team.Boston's build was just a different model than ours, you can't compare them IMO
