I think it’s far to say that pairing sunk us tonight. You cannot spot teams 2 early goals like we did tonight.

I think that is a GREAT question/comment. Hard to believe it's anything other than looking at each other and saying 'luv you man' and 'we'll get it done next year'.

This game had a really bad feel to it right off the hop, giving up a breakaway 20 seconds in.

Boston might not be as talented as us overall but they play better team hockey, don't give up much defensively and their best players usually show up in big spots.

Liljegren had a rough game. This guy plays some really good hockey but then too often he just has some outright stinkers where he looks awful.

This next game in Boston is a huge game because we need to win back some respect in this matchup seeing it very well could be the matchup in first round.

Liljegren is a kind of D you'd gladly staple a first round pick and other sweeteners to another team for a comparable defenseman in age who was brought up in a different program, has a more competitive personality. He has his good traits, his skills look like they haven't been fully tapped but talk about another nice quiet guy personality who was developed in our skills only developmental system, who is going to have his lunch money stolen in a big game.
