The Scabs had a horseshoe up their ass in that series. If Tavares fell down 1 second later the Leafs would have swept them.
Ifs and buts.

im not angry just disappointed lol.Actually, he is completely correct! Losing to a hated rival that has 20 less points in the standings is unacceptable!
I'm f***ing furious too!!!
TB lost to both Alberta teams. This was chance for the Leafs to add to that.
Disagree Leafs Habs ganes have always been a crap shoot they always elevate against us and there are many examples of teams pushing other teams regardless of standings. I am not concerned about this one at all. next. While true it's part of a larger trend we've seen with this team that shows us nothing has changed that will lead them any playoff success
Or get swept. The only embarrassment that is left I suppose is blowing the series up 3-0 only to lose 3-4. i guess dubas era will probably come to an end with a full monty
Good thing our PP.... oh wait.Good thing Simmonds played to protect our goalie smh
@PromisedLand has been saying this for years.... and every time he has been correct.
If every team underperformed against weak teams, the weak teams would be at the top of the standings.I think some of you think the Leafs are the only team that underperforms against weak teams. It's pretty common, and outside of the 2nd the Leafs were pretty dominant.
That's... not how time works. The leafs don’t have depth.
And they won’t as long as they have to carry Tavares’ contract .
So there is no hope until possibly 2015-2016
I used to be good with numbersThat's... not how time works.
We might be 4th in the east by tomorrow however.Y'all know out of 31 teams we are 3rd overall right? We are still allowed a few stinkers where we get a point and still hurt them
Its the same signs of previous seasons that we saw tonight that suggest there won't be May hockey.I hope to God the 4 points they took from us costs them Bedard.
In other news, let's drink and be merry boys...only April hockey matters.

Outplayed them bigly in the first and third. Laughably bad in the 2nd got it to OT. No killer instinct in OT to lose.
Is anyone surprised by this type of game from the team anymore? How can we expect anything different come playoff time?
Refs did their best to give Montreal a win in regulation so they at least got a point
Unfortunately, we have a culture, or attitude, that their skills are all that are needed. Too often our stars don't work hard enough. The Habs won because they outworked our overpaid stars.thanks for remembering Cleetus.
CBJ did it to perfection in the series. Leafs also doesn't have a point shot where someone slaps or zips a puck from teh point and then people are in front looking for garbage goals.
they are always looking for fancy plays which are not really available in the playoffs. Its so infuriating b/c we know what the issue is and we are not fixing it
Interference, that is apparently called 100% of the time, is hardly ever called.Just to add, if Nylander isn't interfered with, he doesn't get a high sticking penalty. There should have been a Habs penalty on that play too!!!

For the most part our bottom six forwards were invisible IMHO!
