Can't wait to hear what the usual suspects have ti say. Yup loser mentality not to go all in at the TDL with these losers. Good job Kyle.

They have the talent to come back from a 3-0 deficit. They really do. Especially against this Panthers team which really isn't good.

But do they have it in them? No. Not at all. Their best forward in this game, essentially a deciding game for this season, was David Kampf. They got out-shot, out-chanced, and out-played for 50+ minutes tonight. Mitch Marner may have played the worst game of his life and Matthews wasn't much better. Let's not even talk about Tavares.

In the wider picture, they have fallen down 3-0 to the 8th seed after a fluke series victory against the Lightning. They have scored 2 goals or less in the last 5 games. They have one regulation win out of the 9 in this year's playoffs. They have lost three in a row for the first time since that putrid start in October.

It is totally inexcusable. It is pathetic. And I almost hope they lose the next one. Because forcing 7 and losing does not show "heart;" showing "heart" is showing up in games like this.

(Oh and Wes McCauley set a Leafs record tonight: First time in our 105-year history that we did not have a PP in a playoff game. Well done!).

O'Reilly invisible since his OT face off win.

Shame on me trusting a big play Dubas addition. His other big play Brodie throwing games away

I was super happy when they won the first round finally but maybe a tiny part of me was a little disappointed that a dramatic offseason purge was just avoided. I think this series is really proving that this team, from top down, is lacking. It was a fun run with this core and front office but it’s time to start again. Even if the team sucks it’s nice to have hope for the future. This team is no future unless a big time purge occurs.

I don’t get why Keefe didn’t split up the top guys. It was obvious the core four needed a shake up!

Who knew our bad record vs lower ranking teams would come back to haunt us in the playoffs. Never saw that coming tbh. Boston ruined our chances at a cup run.

Florida has everything going for them right now and it's showing.

Worth noting Florida did win the President's Trophy last year with a lot of those players. There's a lot of talent there. And their depth is just playing outstanding right now.

Leafs didn't come mentally prepared and it's showing.
Florida also has, contrary to the hivemind opinion, a legit NHL coach instead of a rookie like last year. Maurice is coaching circles around Keefe, and Florida would've done much better last year had they not been forced to fire Q

the leafs were clearly lucky to get by Tampa in round 1. If Tampa wasn't missing key players for several games and nursing injuries, it would have been another round 1 loss. They are going to get swept by FL now with no pushback.
this core has not changed and is going nowhere.

You could see this coming in round 1.
A hobbled Tampa team clearly outplayed the leafs for many of those games only to come up short when the leafs would score late goals and OT winners after looking like ass for most of 60 minutes.

the Leafs aren't getting those lucky bounces now against a harder working team and it's going to result in being swept in 4 games.

I pray advancing out of round 1 this year didn't secure Dubas' and Keefe's jobs.
