I think he was referring to 'core' as in 'highest paid'.

Core four as in 'best players' are Matthews, Nylander, Rielly, and Marner.

Haven't seen it for a decade. Sit one of the "new generation" players? In the land of the litigious, USA scumbag lawyers are lying in wait for this; another topsy-turvy woke narrative usurping what used to be a normal and highly effective coaching tactic.

Hell, our coach can't even apply some mild warranted verbal criticism to a player (won't say an example, but his initials are Mitch Marner) without being told to apologetically backtrack.

My dentist at the time (early 20s) said I should have them removed because they would never come in properly.

Still have them in my 70s.

Yeah probably 11:45 by the time this starts. Brutal. Good thing I am still on vacation I can maybe get through the first two periods. Boys better play well though or will be easy to turn this off haha.

I'm not irrational in the slightest. I think the Leafs are the best team in the division. It's hardly a stretch, and I'm pretty sure virtually every media member took the exact same position. The issue is that so many on this site react, and reach seemingly concrete conclusions, with each passing shift, let alone each game. Lose three games in a row, the team is garbage. Win three in a row, it's orgasm city. Meanwhile, my position is simply that they will end up being the best team in the division. The biggest risk is now clearly in net. It's not ideal that a season may rest on the shoulders of a guy who has played less than 30 NHL games.

You were extremely unrealistic and irrational. To the point it was suspect. You’re also an adult (I assumed you were a kid). Settle down, take a step back and use common sense. You will get a lot more respect going forward.

You have guaranteed that we'd win many times this season, that is irrational.

You guaranteed that we'd take over 1st place in January, that was irrational.

Then we won three in a row and you doubled down, guaranteeing that we'd take over 1st place in December, that was irrational.

Now you're shifting the goal posts to "I think the Leafs are the best team in the division". :laugh::laugh:

There are 14 teams above .500 in regulation hockey, 2 of those teams are in our division and we're not one of them. If we're the best team in our division, then I'm Tiger Woods.

I'd like it to be Hildeby just because I don't see a need to start the same goalie in any back-to-back at this juncture. I'm good with playing tonight's game first and making whatever announcement afterwards pertaining to tomorrow night's game though.

I do indeed think they are the best team in the division, because as I've said a hundred times i think it is a pretty mediocre division. Does it mean this team doesn't have flaws? Of course not. We all know what those flaws are. I think the defense and the 3C position will be addressed through trades. Goaltending may be a different story, because i don't think we are going to see another goalie acquired. But, by all means, show me the greatness of Boston and Florida and I'll change my mind.
 
If I can get a nap in, I *may* be able to watch this otherwise no way. I nod off involuntarily around that time these days.
