Nov 17th 2018, Reilly scored in ot on a breakaway with 1:43 remaining. 1st time we swept since 95, I remember it like it was this morning… lol

I don't remember that last time I watched a Leafs/LA game entirely. I normally watched the first period only and then I check the score next morning.

There are only what, 3-5 late starts a season? I commit to them, provided the team is not getting cranked. Makes for a tired morning, but I only get to enjoy the things I enjoy once, so may as well enjoy them, though these days I question if I actually enjoy watching this team lol + sad noises.

That being said, I don't have young kids anymore and have the privilege of working from home, and I am up until 1230am most nights anyway

I get where you're coming from. It sorts of feels the way it did just before Babs got fired, another loss or two and that just might do it.

Going by what we saw since the Christmas break, I'd put the likelihood of a sharp Leafs effort and 2 points as somewhat low. They're in a bit of a funk, they'll probably get back to a more playoff comfortable pace, but my gut instinct is not tonight.

I do have two young kids, 11pm is my absolute limit these days. Hopefully that will change in the future.

A defensive team with size that takes away time & space, the core four is going to get stuffed tonight. They can't fight through that style of hockey.
