Always a good sign as we should be starting to peak
Hopefully they learn to play with some balls and passion
Neither it was a jar.Was the door open or closed?

I have this wonderful image in my head of the players holding a team meeting and locking Holmberg out, while Berube watches him pound on the door in am attempt to get in.Was the door open or closed?
What's your problem manI have this wonderful image in my head of the players holding a team meeting and locking Holmberg out, while Berube watches him pound on the door in am attempt to get in.
I feel like matthews will be the anti Crosby. Crosby wins and keeps his caphit the same. Matthews loses and wants to max his caphit whenever he can.
Not for nothing, but that sounds like early criticism of Ovechkin, but also sounds like early criticism of hotdogPhil, so make of it what you will… I’m high as a kiteI feel like matthews will be the anti Crosby. Go stand in the corner!Neither it was a jar.
Sorry couldn't help myself.
He always looks like a zombie this year. Is he not sleeping? Sick?Matthews looked like a complete zombie in the press conference today, it was probably not a very intense meeting by the look of things.

It wasn’t in their contract so they demanded more before attendingI heard the core didn't show up for this team event either.
All 3 of the East coast guys (Mac, Marchand and Crosby) all played for a below market salary for a long timeI feel like matthews will be the anti Crosby. Crosby wins and keeps his caphit the same. Matthews loses and wants to max his caphit whenever he can.
Difference is that Ovechkin performed in the playoffs. He had 30 goals in his first 51 playoff games, Matthews has 23 in 55.Not for nothing, but that sounds like early criticism of Ovechkin, but also sounds like early criticism of hotdogPhil, so make of it what you will… I’m high as a kite![]()

Kessel was never going to be the guy but more a complimentary player. Matthews could literally beat Ovechkin in terms of speed to, 400 goals and become the 5th fastest in NHL history, come playoff time though it's debatable whether he's even a top 50 goal scorer of all time, forget top 10 or top 5 as his season stats suggest.
