You don't send him down after this and kill his momentum. Sends the wrong message after clearly putting it all together and proving he can be an impact. Keeping him on the roster gives him the best chance to continue adapting/growing at this level.

Final shots 31-30 Leafs, a lot closer than expected with some questionable play in front of the goalie but it gave him more qty and quality shots than expected.

Absolutely not. The game has completely passed Clifford at this point. He really isn't a NHL player anymore.

Trade Engval. I actually like Engval but Robertson and Malgin bring more offensively and trading him would give us the breathing room we need under the cap.

Agreed. I also like Engvall, but he can be replaced much easier than Kerfoot.

I do not understand the preference to trade Holl. A team needs seven defensemen, because injuries are inevitable. There is a big drop off from Holl to Mete, Benn, etc.

Habs lineup tonight... you look at it, and if you were a Habs fan... what are you thinking? Nobody on that first line was very good... Drouin was meh, Anderson was just ok, dangerous with the puck on his stick bearing down on a goalie, but useless otherwise. Monahan had some game. Hoffman and Dach were meh... Slafkovsky is going to be a very good player for them one day, but I wouldn't expect much more than 30-40 points this year. The D wasn't very good... only bright spot back there was Xhekaj, and you kind of feel jealous of the Habs, that he isn't in our system. No room for him now, but maybe in a couple of years of AHL development, he'll become something... would love that physicality and engagement in our system. Allen was garbage... so, three players on their squad stood out as having ok games....
