Probably gets in Thursday in Carolina? Is Holmberg the only player not to get a game during the Mentors trip?
Good call.Probably gets in Thursday in Carolina?
For sure.....I assume he is not traveling with the team either.Good call.
You have to feel for McCabe and his Mentor missing out.
Ironically, the leafs didn't have an enforcer thenI'm fine with rotating Reaves in for a game. Maybe he will be pumped and do something useful. I wish we rotated players more often
One day though fans will realize how a pure enforcer is just absolute useless, but some are still stuck in 1967 when the Leafs won the cup.
No chance. For sure.....I assume he is not traveling with the team either.
Losing McCabe is such a huge blow to this team. McCabe, our goalies and Marner to some extent are the unsung hero's of this year IMO
Let's see if they can make it 5 in a row.
Woll should get the net back for this one.
Has the team practiced yet today?
I don't know about unsung, but the hero list must include Tanev. Tanev, McCabe, Marner and the goalies are the heroes so far this season. I just hope Marner can play in the playoffs the way he's playing now, and of course I hope everyone's healthy for the playoffs - we're not very deep as a team so an injury to even one key player would be hard to overcome.Losing McCabe is such a huge blow to this team. Having a physical, fearless Dman is huge for this squad. We don't need a purebred enforcer if we have Dmen like McCabe.
Love the guy and hope hes back soon.
Go leafs go
Your definition of 'some extent' needs work.Losing McCabe is such a huge blow to this team. McCabe, our goalies and Marner to some extent are the unsung hero's of this year IMO

He wont.Reaves has to fight tonight (or at least do something physical). The only thing he can bring to the lineup and it hasn't been there this year
I'm pretty sure there were no conferences during the Canadian division season -- just 4 divisions whose winners were reseeded to determine the semi-final matchups. It may have technically happened during the second COVID shortened season because of the stupid Canadian division?
I think they win big tonight. This is a tough one. Underdog line looks good, and McCabe is out, so I'm not sure.
I wouldn't if I was his age and was on the second last year of my career and last contract? He wont.
Why do you think that?He wont.
To help generate more shots against than for.For what reason do we need Reaves in tonight?
Leafs could have used Reaves in the 70s against Freddie Shero's bullies. Not so much tonight. To help generate more shots against than for.
Oilers/Bruins @ 7 pm. Leafs/Flyers @ 7:30 pm. You can almost squeeze most of both games in.I'm so tired of the 7:30 start
With Washington out of action tonight, A win for Toronto would put them in first in the conference... Technically tied, and even more technically, behind, since Washington would have two games in hand.
Still, that would be pretty huge. When was the last time the leafs led the conference this late into a season? My guess is that it was during the 1993-94 season, before the lead they had built up with the 10 game winning streak had faded away. Does anyone know of a time more recent than that?
