As someone who generally doesn't dislike Holl and thought Liljegren had a terrible game last night, this is still a ridiculous decision. I can't believe the Leafs are going 7 dmen at all as that rarely works, but especially to take Liljegren out of the lineup. I already have a bad feeling that he's going to prioritize Holl and Schenn over him in the playoffs

I mean it's not even a Lily/Holl thing for me. Both guys are better on the 3rd pair than Schenn is and you're taking one of them out for a guy that can't move the puck.

Gio should also be coming out in the 2nd half of back to backs to rest (Spezza treatment). Lily should be a staple every game.

Yeah that was a pretty nonsensical trade, but that doesn't mean Keefe has to make it worse by playing Schenn over Liljegren
