Keefe's full quote on sitting Liljegren. The 2nd half makes it seem it's due to injury. I think we need to relax a little. He's probably playing if he doesn't get shaken up.

He wanted to get the other guys in, and Lilly being hurt and on a back to back is a reason to sit him. Fine by me.

I do agree though Holl and Gio shouldn't be playing back to backs. Both guys need a break.

I'm curious to see Schenn in the Leafs system before declaring all of this to be a mistake. Holl is a better skater than Schenn but doesn't exactly have a lot going for him.

Kinda surreal seeing Schenn back on this team. I can remember exactly what I was doing when he was picked, remember Pierre McGuire screaming "THE REBUILD BEGINS NOW TORONTO!"

Another favourite Schenn memory was Wilson scratching him and Kadri on the same night. Hfboards crashed convinced that they were being traded. Good times. Then the Schenn/JvR trade which was almost a Hfboards meme for like a year before it actually happened.

I really didn't want us to draft him to repeat the Luke Richardson draft, thinking there's no way an 18 year old kid could handle the job description of a defensive franchise defenseman. Fast forward 15 years and at this stage of his career and what he has accomplished, who he's grown up to be, it's a perfect fit for what we need.
