Woll can go a long way to saying “I’m your goalie depth” with a huge game tonight. Other than his first game back where he didn’t have a lot of prep time, he was great in his next game.

Do we go get a Talbot? Waste a puck or prospect or run with Woll Kallgren as your 3/4. How is Murray? My faith in his health is not great, but who

Hoping for the highlighted part... and a healthy Murray. I think they have enough to be alright but it's going to be team D that gets them over the hump and usually that's been pretty damn good this year.

I really wonder about Keefes choices sometimes lately.

The next 20 games or so are huge. It's a lot on Keefe to figure out what way to throw this team out on the ice and get chemistry all set.

Please tell me Schenn and Gustafson are in tonight and Holl and (In a perfect world) Rielly are out.

Even if they’re not, just lie to me and tell me they are. Lol

Bad games happen, not worrying about Edmonton too much. Much more interested to see how they respond tonight

I doubt it's going to look much better TBH, they have not had a chance to practice, the saving grace is they don't have McJesus and their goaltending has been a dumpster fire all season.

It's going to be a high score (for both teams), rough, chippy, penalty filled game.

The fallout from Dubas' generously giving the team a day to take in the Springsteen show should have been expected:

It's clear the carrot approach does not work with this group, maybe, just maybe Keefe/Dubas should try the stick once in awhile?
What is the stick reference? I have never heard of it. Lol.

The boys also let poor boy Woll out to dry that day was sad

I expect a big bounce back tonight. I also thought we’d come out great last night, so…
Interesthang to see sire. What will happen

Also uh, have yall seen how calgary flames by sutter play? They won the shots (again) vs Boston bruins. The shots on goal were like whopping 57-17 and they still lost the game :wow: :puzzled:
But yeah, they dont give much to the opponent. Many times the game has been 5min played and the opponent hasnt had not one shot on goal. Many times the flames allow the first shot of the game. Its been aamazing and weird season for them. And it doesnt matter who plays in goal for them neither. It happens so often. Ive been discussing with their fans about it and know everything there is on their team. Im a sutter follower miself. So therefore I know things bout them they dont even know themselves.

I don't know if i've ever seen an arms race like this year. Sure interesting that the year we finally decide to go for it so does every other contender in the east.
Take care of Woll tonight boys.

Worked a hell of a lot better than Rielly-Holl when I watched it.
No, it just didn't stand out as much with the team overall being bad defensively, and Rielly's big offensive season drew a lot of the focus.

None of which we can credit Hainsey's solid defensive play with I'm certain.
Rielly putting up double his career high shooting percentage and scoring a bunch of goals didn't have much to do with Hainsey, and Hainsey wasn't very good defensively by that point.
