It looked like a pre-season game, which isn't surprising given its our 2nd game in 21 days. Passes were very off (the most crisp one felt like the Dermott to Miki one), and the puck was bouncing like crazy.

2nd game in 21 days!!! Yikes, that explains the sloppy play. But we got the win, which is all that counts.

How quickly I forgot the empty arena experience. Glad they found a way to.extract two points tonight.

Hopefully the team can remain focused and professional during home games. They have to appreciate the away crowds. I know I do as a fan.

I work with a huge Oilers fan and he was telling me at the start of the season that the Leafs are screwed because they let Andersen go. Then went on to tell me that the Oilers goaltending is legit, and the Leafs made a huge mistake letting Hyman walk.

I tend to agree. There are no easy answers to this virus from hell so I try and be fair. People above my pay grade make these recommendations and decisions hopefully they always do what is best for their constituents.

Sports is an important escape from the horror movie we are all living through. Community participation can be therapeutic even if it is just a game.
