Nylander only core 4 player worth his value for cap hit.

You think this team is the only team to make the playoffs? There are 15 other teams each and every single season that make the playoffs that don't have Matthews, Marner or Tavares on them. None of them have Dubas as their GM either. And none have Keefe as their coach.

Unbelievably, one of those teams also win the Cup, without having said players, GM or coach.

It can be done.

You're ignoring that we've gone down this path in the past, and when it comes to the Leafs "retooling", it leads to a decade of no playoffs.

Last year I wasn't even that gutted... its just these guys on this team. Change is coming. I'm a pretty big Homer for many players and I don't hate Dubas I think he's decent (don't know what will happen there).... Keefe I'm not sold on now ... its just so obvious in hindsight that this team needs a new voice somewhere. I think the coach goes at a minimum and a core player has too.

It should be Tavares probably but you can't get rid of that now. So Marner... matthews. I like JT and think he's awesome but for 11 million... nope.

Nylander I'd keep funny enough. He'll demand the least and only be 10 points under those guys.

I don't know the solution but change is coming.

I found it really weird when everybody was all of a sudden confident after the series going 3-1. Like... you really thought the leafs would win 4 in a row to a team they just lost 3 in a row to? Are you serious?

Game 3 and 5 were not where it should have been effort wise.

Mainly a perimeter team, with very few exceptions.

No way they can run this back again. Keefe out for sure. Dubas I am not so sure. One of the core 4 has to go, and if they do move Nylander they are bigger idiots than any of us thought.

How can you say not willing to go to the dirty areas and then say they should not trade Nylander in the same post. He never throws checks he is a player who only gets involved if he has a chance to score. Not any other time. He needs to go and I hope the Gm we trade him to feels the same as you do.
