There was to be some common sense when making these calls. Not just automatic systematic calls
I mean there was absolutely no intent to kick that puck in

If we just make automatic calls, why do we even need refs? can't AI make half of the calls?

That's the stupidest call I've seen in a while. Makes zero sense. He was kicking it up to his own stick and it would have gotten there but the defenseman stuck his foot out and deflected it. This is so Leafy. We always get these outlier calls.

Last year it looked like he was back on track
