Ridiculous that a coaching staff thinks this is how to protect a one goal lead. Have an advantage everywhere on the ice except in net so let’s fall back and not pressure a slow d core who struggles to move the puck. Glad for the win and lets put them on their heels for the entire game tomorrow.

They need to consider making their defensive stand between the redline and the blueline and delay the puck entry as long as possible. Collapsing to the net isn’t really a safe position to be.

Campbell stood up and won a goaltending duel, Kerfoot had his best game as a Leaf imo

Not that they're the only ones but Kerfoot Willie & Jack really having themselves a playoffs; this is the best hockey I've seen Kerfoot play as a Leaf.

Marner is probably the softest player on the Leafs. Nylander has turned it on. The Marner skate-by and over-passing can be infuriating.

Nylander was battling like a beast in the corners tonight. Marner needs to get that message now. Almost the entire lineup has learned what it takes. Marner is not on board so far.
